Training Opportunities

Logo-Blue-Medium_Transparent.pngSerenitea is the initiative of the Essential Drugs & Alcohol Services (EDAS) and will provide an alcohol-free social environment for people in recovery as well as members of the public.

Located on Ashley Road, Serenitea is the culmination of the support, dedication and commitment of EDAS, its trustees and volunteers. The café aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals as they deal with the issues around their recovery.

As well as being a place for anyone to visit to relax, socialise and receive discreet advice or counselling, Serenitea also offers an educational opportunity. Service users in late stages of recovery will be able to work towards gaining Health & Safety, Customer Care, and Hospitality Management qualifications, ultimately helping them to progress towards entering employment.
