This course explores the different types of drugs commonly used and their risks and effects and considers the motivation behind drug use and the impact of drugs on the individual and on society.
This course is for anyone who wants to increase their knowledge of issues around drug use, covering the following topics: drug terms, types of drugs and their effects, levels of drug use and why people use, reducing risk, and types of treatment that are available.
This course is worth 3 CPD credits.
A CPD attainment certificate will be provided on course completion.
The sessions are held in the EDAS Learning Centre, 54a Ashley Road, Parkstone, Poole, Dorset BH14 9BN and last for 3 hours from 9:30am - 12:30pm.
Upon completion of this workshop, you will receive an EDAS Completion Certificate.
