Start Up

Employability, numeracy, and business basics to help get you started up!

Start Up is a FREE 8-week programme with a focus on enhancing your employability and numeracy skills, offering an introduction to the foundational elements of business and employment.

Get support with:

• CV and cover letter writing
• Interview skills
• Managing money and finances such as paying bills, spending wisely, and basic numeracy skills
• Understanding the basics of business to help you in the workplace, or to start something of your own with increased confidence

Upon completion of this programme, you will achieve the following awards accredited by Ascentis:

• Entry Level 3 Award in Mathematical Skills – Developing and Applying Number Skills
• Level 1 Award in Understanding Employment, Business, and Enterprise

Who Can Join?

Start Up is open to adults and young people living in the BCP and Dorset areas. There are no special requirements to join.
