Serenitea Café Full-Time Position

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Serenitea staff are passionate about great food. They consistently deliver delicious dishes within a busy service and understand how their food impacts the customer experience. Serving fresh, healthy, and beautiful dishes to the community daily.

Serenitea staff need to be:

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining quality and consistent food presentation
  • Able to work as a team

Duties to include:

  • Greeting our customers and informing them about our products, history and brand.
  • Preparing and serving products following the recipes and standards of Serenitea Café.
  • Packaging food and beverages for sale.
  • Selling products, informing our customers about our café and charity products and services, upselling, and cross selling.
  • Keeping the cafe clean and tidy at all times.
  • Learning about barista methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
  • Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
  • Provide excellent customer services
  • Make suggestions based on their preferences
  • Take and serve food/drinks orders
  • Arrange table settings
  • Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
  • Check products for quality
  • Cooperate and communicate with all Serenitea staff
  • Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
  • Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
  • Clean the cafe before closing the cafe.
  • Follow the instructions given by the manager
  • Clearing Tables & Cleaning dishes.

Salary: £21,027.00 per annum pro rata
