Counselling is the process of talking through emotions, behaviours and life events with a professional, who is trained to support you and help make sense of things.
Counselling sessions are weekly and usually last for 50 or 55 minutes. Our therapists specialise in a range of counselling techniques, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Art Psychotherapy and Person-centred Therapy (Humanistic). Some of our practitioners offer a blended, integrative approach, using different therapeutic techniques to suit your needs.
Our counsellors will provide a safe space for you to talk through your issues in a confidential, non-judgemental and trusting environment. You will be listened to with empathy and work together with your therapist to learn new skills and reach your goals.
We are flexible and able to offer sessions in our private offices. For those who are unable to meet in person, we can arrange video calls via Zoom, or call you on the telephone.
Your counsellor will offer a gentle, listening ear and a safe space to talk. What you discuss will stay between the two of you. See the Client Agreement for full details.
